Grey Inspired Newborn Photo Shoot

From the moment that I uploaded the images from this session, I knew that I wanted to share them! The beautiful tones of this Grey Inspired Newborn Photo Shoot made my heart sing. I loved the colors that my client chose. My clients don’t often choose grey for my baby girl newborn sessions but I think grey can be a gorgeous color for baby girls! It can be soft and beautiful. I had just made a sweet, little outfit for a baby girl with soft grey and lavender tones and was so excited to use it!

The soft grey fabric and wood floor mat is from Roses & Ruffles and the little headbands are from Olive and Lace. The gorgeous pearl headband is from The Golden Stitch Prop Shoppe. All of her items are handmade and just lovely. All three of those vendors are two of my favorites for my newborn studio.

Not just a photographer…

One of my favorite parts of my job is that I’m not just a photographer but I’m a “Family Photographer.” I get to see my families grow up. I get to capture the most beautiful milestones and seasons of their lives. I consider it an honor to be able to capture these moments and give them a gift that lasts forever. This beautiful family came to me when they were pregnant with their first baby three years ago. When Ashley contacted me and told me they were pregnant with their baby girl, I was over the moon! Her message made me teary eyed – “We were so happy with our experience with our first born, we couldn’t imagine anyone else capturing our soon to be baby girl.” What a beautiful, encouraging message that what I do matters.

For this beautiful family, I’ve now captured both of their children as newborns and both pregnancies! And that makes my heart sing.
