I’m going to let you in on a little secret…I have a favorite color to put my baby girl newborns on! Although, I do love all kinds of colors that range from neutrals to bolds, I really do have a favorite for girls. It is Blush. And when I get to do a Blush Inspired Newborn Photo Shoot then my heart sings!
Oh, blush…how I love thee!
Yes, yes, yes, it is one of my favorites colors to put a baby girl on! I feel like so many skin tones look beautiful on a blush pink. There are many different kinds of blush but my favorite is this gorgeous earthy color. I don’t mind a light pink or a rose pink (please don’t make me shoot a fuscia pink – haha) but blush is my go to. When this beautiful girl’s mama, Erica, mentioned an earthy blush color, I knew I wanted to do a blush inspired newborn photo shoot.
This session is definitely one of my favorites of the season. Baby girl, Logan, slept like a tiny angel and it was so much fun to pose her and work with those delicious cheeks. Her dad blessed me big time at the end. He said to me “I didn’t understand why we were doing the session but now I understand why. It’s the experience you just gave us. This was the most amazing experience!” He reminded me that has always been my intention in my photography – to give my clients the gift of not just amazing photos but an experience that they will always remember and enjoyed.
