I don’t post enough of my sweet, little family and it’s time I do more! I thought our beach trip would be the perfect opportunity – kids playing at the beach, a dancer dancing on the beach, and a fun announcement. Are you ready?
Anyone who knows me knows that my favorite place to be is the beach! It doesn’t matter what coast, if there is a beach nearby then that is where you will find me! My best friend invited my family to come hang out with them for a few days at a beach house they were gifted in Panama City. It was the most wonderful, peaceful few days. You know the kind of friends where you don’t mind if they discipline (or even a little spank – yes, I totally said that) your kid or your child has strep and the other friend still says yes to babysitting your child because you just have to go to work…that’s the kind of friend my best friend is!! We’ve been digging into this relationship for ten years and sometimes lived just a couple blocks from each other while watching our babies grow up together. We’ve been dreaming about taking the kids on a little vacation together and even though I absolutely promised I wouldn’t work, I still had to take my camera out for just a little bit a couple times! And I have to say friends….when you find this kind of friendship, you do whatever you can do to invest into it. Even if that means driving 11.5 hours for a three night trip with them.
Now for the announcement part – I had so much fun photographing our kids playing that it made me realize that I want to do a lot more of this summer! And the best part is I’ve already had two clients ask me to come to the beach this summer to photograph their families! WOOT!
So I wanted to share with you our fun family weekend at the beach but also tell you that this summer I’m available to come to the beach in South & North Carolina to capture your families! We can do a family photo shoot or maybe you want some playful, lifestyle images of your babies having a blast in one of your favorite places.
