Happy New Year! I hope you all had a wonderful holiday season! I am so excited to share some of my favorite sessions from the end of the year and this Cake Smash was SO flipping adorable! One of my top five favorite Christmas movies is Elf and I had some inspiration on a Friday, contacted one of my favorite clients and by Monday, we had a session.
This was so easy to put together and I am excited to share how I did it with you. My beautiful backdrop with the snowman and hills of snow is from Fancy Fabric & Props. They are one of my favorite backdrop companies to purchase from for my Cake Smashes. It’s a beautiful poly paper and so gorgeous and smooth. Here’s a little list of the other fun things that I included –
- Elf outfit – Amazon!
- Chocolate Fudge PopTarts (because that’s my favorite flavor and the flavor from the movie.
- Mini Marshmallows
- Maple Syrup (of course!)
- Chocolate Syrup
- Peanut M&Ms in a container
- Those really bad for you, don’t even taste good but tastes oh so good Christmas tree cakes.
- A little white box to lift some items off the ground.
- The giant candy canes and peppermint sticks are from Hobby Lobby. We took little wood blocks and screwed holes into them to stick them in.
- The little trees are from www.christmastreeshoppes.com (I LOVE THAT SITE!)
- And my favorite saying from the movie was from an Etsy seller that I had framed because “I just like to Smile. Smiling’s my favorite.” 🙂
- Mr. Narwhal – another sweet, little Amazon buy. Love my Amazon Prime!
